DailIQ Privacy Policy
1. Overview
DailIQ is a mobile app that provides short daily quiz, word, and memory puzzles. This policy explains how data is handled by the DailIQ app and the DailIQ daily pack API.

2. Data handled directly by DailIQ
- The app does not require account registration, name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, photos, or file uploads.
- Puzzle progress, scores, XP, streaks, hint count, language preference, reminder setting, and ad setting are stored on the user's device.
- When loading a daily pack, the app sends a date value to the DailIQ API. User-entered personal content is not sent.
- If reminders are enabled, the app requests the operating system notification permission and schedules local notifications on the device. DailIQ does not separately collect push tokens.
3. Ads and third-party services
DailIQ uses Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK to serve ads. The ad SDK may process device information, advertising identifiers, app interactions, and diagnostics for ad serving, frequency capping, fraud prevention, measurement, and performance. DailIQ currently requests non-personalized ads.
The DailIQ daily pack API is hosted on Cloudflare Workers and Cloudflare KV. Cloudflare may process standard request metadata such as IP address, user agent, and request time for security, networking, and logging.
Google Gemini API is used to generate daily puzzle packs. DailIQ sends the date and puzzle-generation instructions to Gemini, not user account information or personal content written by users.
4. Purposes
- Provide a different daily puzzle pack
- Show puzzle progress and scores
- Schedule daily reminders when enabled
- Display ads and grant ad rewards
- Maintain service stability, security, and error handling
5. Retention and deletion
Progress and settings stored on the device are removed when the user clears app data or uninstalls the app. The in-app "Reset today" feature resets today's progress. Daily pack API cache is not user-specific and may be stored for service operation. Server request logs may be retained according to Cloudflare's and Google's policies and security operations.
6. Security
DailIQ uses HTTPS for public API requests. Gemini API keys and Cloudflare configuration are kept as server-side Worker secrets and are not embedded in the app. However, no internet transmission or device storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
7. Children's privacy
DailIQ is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child's personal information has been processed, please contact us.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the effective date on this page. For material changes, we may provide notice in the app or store listing.
